![]() This aspect of the game is realistic and pretty decent. Without treatment with a special pill, will cause your character to continuously throwing up and get dehydrated. Eating some foods such as mushrooms and a lot of the rotten food will give your character food poisoning. The game has hunger/thirst system where if you do not feed yourself from the horrifyingly dreaded food (rotten carrots, apples, etc.) to the delectable foods (carrots, apples, etc.). Players have scavenge, create and steal items to advance in the game. Players start in a nice town, especially comparing it to later ones. Gameplay in We Happy Few feels like a mix between Fallout 4 and Dead Island games. The story starts off pretty good, but eventually gets lost in all the bugs and glitches that the gameplay has to offer. The beginning, some side-quests, and items (newspapers, tv, etc.) are the only sources of any story. Arthur’s main stake in the story is to escape the city. ![]() Food is scarce and every section of the town is dangerous. We Happy Few’s timeline is in the year of 1964, in a time when the town of Wellington Wells is in a state of decay. This is the best part of the game and this complete scene was shown off at E3 too. The piñata was really a rodent and your coworkers start eating it and call you a downer. You must hit the piñata and then your vision becomes clear. ![]() As you walk through the creepy building, you’ll find yourself at an office party. ![]() Arthur’s job is to either approve or disapprove newspaper articles. The scene that was shown off at E3 2016 was enough to sell me on the game.Īt the beginning of the game, you the player are Arthur and are working in an office within the Wellington newspaper company. I was one of the few that was actually very interested in it. A lot of people have never heard of We Happy Few and has not been high on their radar. ![]()
